Movement from within is imprinted on the stretched clay. Terra sigillata applied in thin layers creates a surface not easily understood, it confuses.
Until touched, one is unsure whether it is a glaze or slip, fired or unfired.

The fine slip nestles into fingerprints, picks up minute details, tells stories of the making.
