What can be taken on long journeys of migration, what must be left behind? These forms are baggy, having the soft qualities of material against which imaginary contents press from within creating folds, undulations and bulges. Size and weight, strength and fragility. A dichotomy. The thin smoke- fired rims accentuate the fineness of build while their volume belies their lightness of being.
